On Saturday at noon, we are joined by, President of WIFTI and Director of Catalyst Film Festival, Dr. Susan Liddy who will be chating with writer / director Nell Hensey.

Dr Susan Liddy
Dr. Susan Liddy lectures in the Department of Media and Communication Studies in Mary Immaculate College Limerick. She is the Director of Catalyst International Film Festival in Limerick City, a festival focusing exclusively on films and filmmakers that address underrepresentation on screen and behind the camera. She is President of Women in Film and Television International, Chair of Women in Film and Television Ireland and serves on the boards of the Irish Film Institute, Raising Films Ireland and the Writers Guild of Ireland. Susan has published widely on various issues relating to the screen industries in Ireland.
Nell Hensey
Nell Hensey is a Filipino-Irish screenwriter and director from the west of Ireland. She has had projects supported by The Arts Council of Ireland, the Engine Shorts Film Scheme and Virgin Media Television.
Nell won the Virgin Media Discovers and Screen Ireland Short Film Competition for her film GOOD CHIPS, has worked as a Writer’s Room Assistant, a Showrunner’s Assistant and a Script Editor for a Netflix original series that is co-produced by Higher Ground.
